Molecular Therapies Symposium

NCCN recently hosted a symposium on targeted therapy in paediatric oncology, featuring guest speaker Dr Katie Janeaway from Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital, moderator Professor Geoff McCowage from Sydney Children’s Hospital Network at Westmead and local presenter Dr Andrew Wood, Paediatric Oncologist at Starship and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Auckland. The goal of the workshop was to seek broad national consensus on our philosophy and decision making process for molecular medicine as a precursor for a guideline document.
