Child Cancer Research in New Zealand

The National Child Cancer Network provides overall governance of the National Children’s Cancer Registry (NZCCR) and the Late Effects Assessment Programme online database (LEAP-IT). Together these resources offer New Zealand researchers access to a wealth of data for a wide range of research purposes.

In addition Network members contribute to many international and local research initiatives to improve the outcomes and quality of life of children diagnosed with cancer.

In our research sections we highlight come of the current and completed studies that members of the Network have participated in and contributed to. We also include international research of interest to child cancer service providers and researchers in New Zealand.
