Familial Cancer Predisposition Working Group

The Familial Cancer Predisposition Working Group has been convened to focus on TP53 mutation carriage and the development of consistent advice on how this should be managed in the New Zealand child cancer population.

The objectives of the group include:

  • Maintaining an awareness of international literature relating to the management of TP53 mutation carriage
  • Developing a national guideline for child cancer specialists
  • Providing advice on an appropriate surveillance programme
