NCCN agrees an annual work programme with the Te Aho o Te Kahu/Cancer Control Agency Cancer Team. The Network undertakes a number of core activities which support the ongoing delivery of child cancer services in New Zealand. These include maintaining over 200 supportive care guidelines and 14 service level agreements with regional shared care centres.
NCCN supports a series of working groups, involving a diverse range of health and voluntary sector professionals. They provide ongoing advice, recommendations and action plans on specific areas of service delivery across the continuum of child cancer care. The Network also supports shorter-term groups who consider specific technical or clinical issues or service delivery gaps and work to specific project plans or work programmes.
